All other Florida residents around the state, the focus of septic system management or remediation is shifting to BMAP meetings that are held all over the state. The good news is, for the first time, you will have the opportunity to monitor and provide input into what happens in your area – I can’t be everywhere, but you – the local citizen – can be and should be. Let those in your e-mail circles know how important it is to attend, monitor, and actively participate in this process. Alert your local elected officials, your local real estate association, your homeowner association. They also need to know about these meetings and be encouraged to participate. It’s up to YOU!
